Dr. Qadir worked in the military after his graduation in 1971 and moved to USA in 1975. He completed his residency from Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York in 1978 and has been practicing Psychiatry since 1979.
He served as the Chief of Psychiatry, at Oakwood Hospital, Dearborn, MI for four 3 years terms and Oakwood Hospital, Heritage Center Taylor Center, for 2 years.
Dr. Qadir is a distinguished fellow of American Psychiatric Association.
He is also a fellow of American Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine.
He is board certified in General, addiction, geriatric and administrative Psychiatry.
He has been president of NANA in the past and has contested for Presidency in APPNA elections twice in the past.
One of his greatest accomplishments is establishment and maintenance of Scholarship fund for deserving students at Nishtar Medical College, and deserves a special recognition
