Dr. Saeed Anwar graduated in 1989 and did his internship at Nishtar Hospital Multan in 1990. Then he went to England and did his FRCS from Glasgow, UK January, 1996. After that he worked in England for 5 years in Orthopedics and General Surgery. He moved to USA in 1999 and did a year of fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at Umass, Worcester Massachusetts.
He did his residency in Anesthesiology at Umass, Worcester, Massachusetts in 2004. He worked as Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Guthrie Clinic Sayre, PA before doing his interventional pain medicine fellowship in 2012.
Dr. Anwar is board certified in Anesthesiology, American Board of Pain Medicine and Perioperative Trans esophageal
Echocardiography. Currently he is working as interventional pain physician at Guthrie Clinic, Horseheads, NY.
He has been an active member of NANA for several years. Dr Anwar is married to Uzma and has 3 children's, Ali, Zaineb and Bilal.
